Fiber Optic Installation in Boise

Single-mode & multimode fiber — pulled, terminated, tested

Custom — from $2,500 for a two-strand backbone

Fiber optic is how you move gigabits between buildings, between floors, or between racks without electrical interference. We install single-mode and multimode fiber — indoor, outdoor, aerial, or direct-burial — and terminate every strand with fusion splices or pre-polished connectors, then OTDR-test the whole plant.

From a short MMF riser between two floors to a multi-building campus backbone, we scope the job, provide a fixed-price quote, and deliver a tested, documented install that passes your carrier's acceptance.

Frequently asked

Single-mode or multimode?+

Multimode (OM3/OM4) is cheaper and works well for distances under 300 m with compatible optics — typical inside a building. Single-mode (OS2) supports kilometers and higher bandwidth — use it for campus backbones or anywhere you might grow into 40G/100G. We'll recommend based on your actual distances.
